Julie blends into the middle of a bustling London street scene. I know her, I can see concern on her face. Hers is the look of a woman trying to figure out exactly which direction the Muji shop is.

She figured it out, and she scored at Muji. Look at the change in her expression!

Julie guides us to the Trafalgar Square neighborhood. Like so much of London, this area is bursting with gorgeous buildings, like this beauty on the corner,

Our stroll towards Trafalgar Square took us through London's West End theater district, past the Garrick, a theater known for serious dramas, and less serious comedies, like The Producers.

Just down the street from the Garrick is the Odeon, on Leicester Square. The Odeon is a high-tech cinema known for its sophisticated sound system. It would seem, that devotees of the Odeon, and the Ministry of Sound, take their hi-fi seriously.

Here is the National Gallery which houses paintings from the likes of van Gogh, da Vinci, Rembrandt, and on, and on. Across from the Gallery is Trafalgar Square which, on the day we were there, was hosting the Indian festival, Diwali.

This gentleman's outfit and bearing earned him first place on my list of best-dressed Londoners. He had lots of competition.

This is the London Coliseum, home to the English National Opera. It too is in the West End, not far from the Garrick and the Odeon theaters. The interior, as I've seen in photos, is as opulent as the exterior.

After a modest walk from the West End theater district, Julie and I arrived at Soho Square.

I've found my third fantasy home in London! It is the red brick building at the left edge of this photo. Views from the walls of windows in this building, overlooking Soho Square, must be magnificent. Now, were do I find a bajillion pounds?
