This blight is nothing new. Look at how deeply the tire on the right is embedded in the sand to get an idea of how long this mess has been here.

Selling hard-on pills is one thing. Selling opioid is quite another. The pharmacies are blight on the city sure as the trash heaps are.

Driving in the city was extra challenging since most of the the stop signs were not reflective and they were often covered by other signs or graffiti.

Here, at least, is a semblance of tidiness. The materials for this fence certainly seem cobbled together but the trash is picked up.

Did developers run out of money? Doesn't city zoning address these abandoned sites. How diminished are the neighboring properties in value and livability. There is great waste on full display in Puerto Penasco and streetscapes are sad reminders of dreams unrealized.
