Here's the seaside Promenade las Glorias in Puerto Penasco.

This trip began when Julie declared that she needed a beach. Boy did she find one that delivered the desired sand-between-the-toes experience.

Blissfully, since it was not peak tourist season, we mostly shared the beach with just birds and a smattering of dogs, walking with their people.

It appears that the water in the Gulf of California is pretty darn clean. It is certainly beautiful.

Here's the port, from which we boarded a cruise boat. We sailed through pods of dolphins that seemed to frolic and show off just for our boat.

After our adventures, we ended our days with views like this from our deck. The sea and the sun are good for the soul.
