Stones, in a more natural state, albeit polished, were more beautiful to me than stones fashioned into jewelry. — Peter

At one large venue, tent after tent featured staggering quantities of stones — raw and polished, and finished jewelry.

Some vendors offered their items as individual pieces or in lots for reduced prices. Some tents were open to wholesalers only.

When shooting this photo, I failed to notice one table packed with stone carved bunnies. Maybe it's best that Julie missed this too. — Peter

Shoppers could cover their arms, from wrist to shoulder, on the cheap in the bead tent — especially when buying by the lot.

One glance at their bases, and it's evident that these huge crystals are very heavy. Pity, I loved them, but they wouldn't fit in my carry on. — Peter
