Trigger warning: I went a little nuts photographing taxidermy. This escaping badger kicked off my madness.

Jesus, save me from that nasty weasel.

I think there's something strangely charming about this low-rent bird. The eye looks like a button. The beak has seen better days. And the base, with its little sprigs of grass, is really something.

Now this little fella is kind of cute. I'm not really sure what he is (was). An odd, English, squirrel, I suppose.

Yikes!

All the weasels look so nasty.

Freaky! As if the two-headed chick isn't nightmare-inducing enough, this vendor also had tentacles in a light bulb.

Cock-a-doodle-do.

This little weasel may be a bit mangy, but at least he doesn't seem as pissed off as the other weasels.

When I saw this jumping stag, my first thought was, geez, thank looks like a tough sell. When I walked around it, I saw a "sold" sign. Well, there you go, there's something for everyone at the Newark flea market.

After a long day of flea-marketing, fish, chips, mushy peas and an ale at The Lord Nelson really hit the spot.
