| In the spring of 2024, University of Minnesota students and the BDS Movement called for the institution's divestment from Israel. Peaceful overnight encampments were set up on the Northrop Mall, Indigenous dancers performed in solidarity, and community members took care of one another with food and other resources. Police dispersed the encampment multiple times and arrests were made. | ||
